Powerwave™ Well Stimulations Completed In Colombia,
South America
EDMONTON, Alta Apr 17, 2008/ Wavefront Energy and Environmental Services
Inc. (“Wavefront”), a leader in technology development and implementation
for improved oil recovery and optimized groundwater remediation is pleased
to announce that two Powerwave royalty bearing well stimulations have
been completed in Colombia by Wavefront’s licensed provider. A coil tubing
deployed Powerwave tool was utilized in the stimulation of two horizontal
wells operated by a major oil producer headquartered in Brazil. Wavefront’s
licensed provider reports that both stimulations were operational successes.
Wavefront President and CEO Brett Davidson stated, “This marks yet another
significant milestone for Wavefront as the international oil community has
realized the benefits of Powerwave for well stimulations, as well as for
flooding approaches to maximize reservoir recovery factor. We anticipate
results to mimic those seen in past well stimulations leading to further
uptake by the client in a number of on-going waterfloods.”
