EDMONTON, Alberta -- September 20, 2005 -- Wavefront Energy and Environmental
Services, Inc. is pleased to provide an update on the Chelsea-Alluwe production
operations in Rogers County, Oklahoma and sales of the DeepWaveSM
process (http://onthewavefront.com/dw_what-is-deep-wave.htm)
by its licensed user in Alberta, Canada.
The Company and its working interest partners, Boulder Oil LLC, and Phoenix Oil
LLC continue to make progress in activating production and injection wells, and
upgrading facilities at Rogers County. Fifteen of forty production wells are now
operational. In addition, six of fourteen water injectors have been activated.
The working interest group will see its first sale of oil during the week of
September 19, 2005 and it is fully expected that five additional production
wells will be on-line the week ending September 26, 2005. Looking forward, the
working interest partners have tentatively scheduled drilling of one horizontal
production well, and five water injectors for
DeepWaveSM
systems before the end of 2005. The drilling of these wells is in keeping with
the aggressive exploitation strategy the working interest partners have for the
lease.
Wavefront President and CEO Brett Davidson stated, “We continue to be pleased at
the rate at which we are revitalizing the Rogers County oil field lease. We hope
to maintain this trend and have all possible production wells operational by the
end of 2005. Furthermore, we remain on target to have
DeepWaveSM
systems strategically installed to maximize our recovery efficiencies.
Top Gun Sand Pumps and Rentals of Lloydminster, Alberta, a licensed provider of
the Company’s DeepWaveSM
process continue to make
advancements in marketing the technology to Canadian heavy oil producers and
have recently reported eight royalty sales to the Company. The royalty sales of
the
DeepWaveSM
process range from one-day single well
stimulations to one-year installations.
We thank Top Gun for their diligence in marketing the technology and are
encouraged that heavy oil operators are looking to the DeepWaveSM
process to aid in production. We anticipate further sales from Top Gun as it
continues to build a track record in heavy oil production. Management also
anticipates the announcement of royalty sales from the Company’s strategic
licensed user in the coming days.”
