Job Description:

Wavefront is looking to add 3 strong technical sales representatives
to our current sales team. The position will be responsible for the
marketing and sales of our solutions to new and existing clients. Developing
customer relationships through technical sales will involve the following
responsibilities:
- Developing, cultivating and managing an extensive client list for Wavefront technology applications in mature and developing markets
- Actively seeking new client accounts, conducting customer presentations / lunch and learns
- Generating, developing, writing and delivering proposals, price quotes and other sales related information
- Providing clients with technical support before, during, and after operations
- Assisting in budgeting activities and contributing to marketing plans
- Maximizing customer potential in designated regions
- Attending trade shows and other industry marketing functions
Required Skills::
- Minimum of 5+ years of oil and gas technical sales or related experience
- Outgoing personality, relationship oriented, capable of networking in a variety of situations
- Strong negotiation and deal closing skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
- High level of planning and organization skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% of on the job time
- Self motivated to perform well as an individual sales person
Total Compensation:
Wavefront offers a very competitive compensation package including: base
salary (commensurate with experience), commission,
bonus, health benefits package, use of a cell phone, and paid vacation.
General:
This position will require candidates to acquire knowledge of all our
product offerings. Based on past experiences and level of
understanding, this phase may involve hands on operation experience and
classroom training. This position will also require developing strong
communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a challenging position requiring a commitment from the candidate to
prove themselves in a demanding environment. A successful candidate is one
that can demonstrate exceptional “soft skills” i.e. public speaking,
technical writing, customer interaction, etc. to compliment their technical
competencies. Candidates must be self motivated and a team player who can
set priorities and follow
activities throughout completion. This job requires one to work with a high
degree of autonomy and do so with a positive attitude. Previous technical
sales and or an Engineering degree are considered a plus.
This position will require you to be a consummate team player,
goal-oriented, self-driven, personable, accountable, and to act in an
ethical manner at all times as you will be the primary link to our
prospective and existing customers.
